Orrick announced today that the firm had been recognized for its litigation and transactional work in the inaugural edition of the Financial Times U.S. Innovative Lawyers Report. Orrick is highlighted in the categories of Financial Services (for its bond work on behalf of the State of California) and Litigation (for its representation of Telenor against Alfa Group).
Inclusion is based on three criteria: the originality of the legal work, the rationale of the lawyers doing the work and the impact of the work on the client. Over 270 submissions from 54 law firms, representing 60 percent of the Am Law 50, and 40 percent of the Am Law 100 were evaluated.
