  • What is your ideal weekend?

Yoga. Painting. Beach with my husband, kids and Sheprador pup. Hiking. Repeat.

  • If you weren't a tech lawyer, what would you do?

    I'd be an artist.

  • Tell us something we'd be surprised to know about you.

I once lived in a refugee camp as a kid.

  • What inspires you about working with tech companies?

I get a thrill working with companies that are pushing the boundaries of what’s been done. Particularly where there’s a greater positive social impact to humanity. I was a math and science kid growing up and love sharing in the enthusiasm of founders describing their novel technologies or making what seems like moonshot missions a reality.

  • What technology are you most excited to see develop?

I'm going to list two. Advances in oncology. Anything and everything that provides greater access to space and knowledge of our universe.

      • What inspires you about working with tech companies?

Technology has an ever-expanding impact on how we live, work, and interact with one another. Helping to bring these innovations to life is an incredible opportunity.

      • What inspired you to become an emerging companies and venture capital lawyer?

I do not practice law, but love helping to match business growth needs with innovative legal strategies.

      • Where do you find inspiration in life?

Both with my family and out in the world - a broad mindset is best fed by an appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. Immersive travel and regular contact is the best way to develop this muscle.

The mass proliferation of automated transportation technologies - these will make life more productive, safer and create a healthier planet!

Skiing with family and friends followed by mastering a new culinary challenge!

      • Tell us about a favorite book, work of art or piece of music?

Red Notice - by Bill Browder - an amazing (but true) story of how global corruption runs afoul of capitalism and how one executive's mission to right these wrongs became one of the most important pieces of international foreign policy.

      • What's the best advice you've ever received?

        Listen more. Speak less.
