FLEX Capital and its portfolio company EVEX Group have acquired German-based Euronet Software AG and UK-based OPTIX (Group) Limited.

Based in Berlin, FLEX Capital is a private equity fund founded by successful serial entrepreneurs. It invests in profitable and growing companies, predominantly in the German internet and software midmarket. The acquisition of the OPTIX Group marks FLEX Capital's first investment in the United Kingdom.
Euronet Software AG, based in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, and the OPTIX Group, based in York, England, are leading providers of optician software.
With these acquisitions, EVEX Group continues its expansion in the field of software for healthcare service providers. By combining Euronet and OPTIX with AMPAREX GmbH and IPRO GmbH, the EVEX Group establishes itself as the second largest provider of ERP software for opticians and acousticians in Europe.
