Orrick has advised Insomnia Cookies, the leading cookie delivery company in the United States, on the sale of a majority stake in the company to the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation.
Insomnia Cookies will continue to operate as an independent, standalone company with Seth Berkowitz, its founder, continuing to lead the company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction closed on September 17.
