Employers and candidates can register to attend the Fourth Annual Veterans’ Legal Career Fair, being held Friday, September 21 at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C.
Launched by Orrick in 2015, with the support of the American Legion and founding sponsors Microsoft Corporation, Morgan Stanley and ALM Media the VLCF is still the only legal career fair devoted exclusively to veterans, active-duty service members and military spouses. The VLCF provides top employers with access to a pool of first-rate candidates who have received unique training, skills and legal insights through their military service. The goal is to help veterans and military spouses learn about opportunities in the private sector, connect with mentors and learn how to position themselves in the market, and ultimately, to find jobs as lawyers.
This year, we are excited to share with you our new location, new format and new online resource: the VLCF Job Board, where employers are able to reach the veteran legal community year-round.
