Orrick Advises Silvair on Warsaw Stock Exchange IPO

August.10.2018

Orrick has advised Bay Area-based smart lighting company Silvair on its initial public offering on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, raising PLN 20.1 million ($5.5 million) from institutional and private investors. This is the first IPO by a U.S. issuer listing solely on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. As a result, our team worked through numerous novel issues and challenges.

The funds raised will be used to further develop Silvair’s interoperable wireless lighting control technology.

Orrick has been advising Silvair since its Series A financing and continues to counsel the company on various aspects of its business, including on corporate and IP matters. The Orrick team was led by partner Dan Kim and included Will Blackman and Ewa Mykytyn, with additional guidance from Andy Thorpe.
