Alison Epperson Named Midwest Law Student of the Year

February.26.2018

Orrick congratulates Case Western Reserve 3L Alison Epperson on being named Midwest Law Student of the Year by the National Jurist. Alison will be joining Orrick’s New York team as an associate in the fall.

After losing a loved one to a concussion-related tragedy during her first year of law school, Alison helped found CTE Hope, an organization that advocates for concussion protocols in high school sports programs and works on ways to better diagnose and treat CTE. CTE Hope is an Orrick pro bono client that the firm was able to connect with additional pro bono counsel in Iowa for advice on issues in that jurisdiction.

In addition to her work with CTE Hope, Alison serves as co-president of the National Security & Law Society and volunteers as a tutor for first-year law students, all while ranking near the top of her law school class.
