Purple Line Transit Project Wins Gold at P3 Awards

The Purple Line Light Rail Transit Project, a $2 billion PPP project that features an 11 mile line extending from Bethesda to New Carrollton, Maryland, earned a gold honor for Best Transit and Aviation Project at the 2016 P3 Awards. The project is the second ever transit PPP to reach financial close in the US and the first rail PPP for the state of Maryland.
