Congratulations to senior associate John Palmer on his selection to The Bond Buyer's inaugural Rising Stars list which highlights leading municipal finance professionals under the age of 40. Recognized for his forward-thinking and innovative approach to addressing a 30-year-old problem that has been plaguing California school districts, John drafted and helped lobby California's Senate Bill 222, which was enacted in 2015 by California Governor Jerry Brown.
In addition to his efforts on SB222, Bond Buyer highlighted John's work on more than $1 billion in bonds for public school facilities programs in California, as well as his work on an upcoming $3.5 billion general obligation bond for the November ballot.
