Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP's Düsseldorf Office has been hosting the "Orrick Japanese Workshop" series which are designed to support global Japanese companies in Germany. Each session of the Orrick Japanese Workshop series aims to provide practical tips on various legal topics such as antitrust and competition, data privacy, compliance, IP, employment, corporate/M&A, dispute resolution, etc.
The November workshop will be on how to avoid liabilities of the employer in cases of power harassment and bullying. We will cover questions such as,
Must the company take action if an employee is the victim of bullying by another employee or manager?
Can the company be held liable for the bullying of one employee by another employee or manager?
How to avoid claims against the company?
Do's and don'ts for the company
This workshop will be presented by Dr. André Zimmermann, LL.M., Head of Orrick's German Employment Practice.
There will be time set aside for questions and answers.
