Perry leverages his background as a litigator and law clerk to federal judges to provide strategic litigation support to our lawyers. He advises on complex procedural issues, reviews filings for compliance with court rules, and serves as the primary point of contact with court personnel. Perry's team also handles filings and provides calendaring services for lawyers in our D.C., Boston, Chicago, and Texas offices.
KT assists these companies with their legal needs as they expand, with a focus on corporate governance and venture financing. He also represents venture capital firms seeking to invest in these high growth companies.
KT graduated from the University of Washington School of Law, where he served as a Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review. He also was a member of the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where he advised entrepreneurs on early stage general corporate and intellectual property matters.
Prior to attending law school, KT was a graduate student researcher at the University of California, San Francisco. During grad school, he also worked in the technology transfer office where he helped to consult with inventors within the university to assess the patentability and commercialization prospects of their inventions.
Tyler's practice has a focus on warehouse lending, secured credit facilities, and publicly registered and privately placed asset securitization transactions. His experience extends to various asset classes, encompassing marketplace consumer loans, solar loans, residential mortgages, student loans, credit card and charge card receivables, auto loans, and esoteric assets, including proved developed producing (PDP) oil and gas wellbores.
Before joining Orrick, Tyler was an associate in Chapman and Cutler LLP's Asset Securitization Department.
Timo heads our Capital Markets and Banking & Finance (incl. Regulatory) practice in Germany and has been advising clients on respective law matters for more than 20 years.
He inter alia advises in the fields of regulatory & asset management (incl. AIFs) and restructuring, corporate law and derivative/carbon trading and is member in creditors committees.
Timo helps his clients, among them banks, corporates, listed companies, and asset managers in capital markets and finance transactions, M&A, squeeze outs, IPOs/ICOs as well as with regard to compliance. He also has special market experience regarding (renewable) energy, banking (stock exchange), insurance, and fund structuring as well as technology.
Darrell has experience in a wide range of traditional real
estate matters, including drafting and negotiating development agreements,
construction contracts, restrictions agreements, purchase and sale agreements,
ground leases, facility and office leases, and construction and permanent loan
documents. He has also formed commercial and residential condominium regimes,
including for mixed uses. He represents developers and users in acquisition and
development matters, including requirements for access, utilities, detention,
drainage, use restrictions and economic incentive arrangements. He also
represents lenders in commercial mortgage loan originations, workouts and
foreclosures.
Darrell also works on all aspects of real property
requirements for energy and other projects, including drafting and negotiating
leases, easements and other real property agreements, satisfying title
insurance requirements, reviewing and revising property tax abatement
agreements and resolving conflicts between mineral and surface
development. connection with renewable energy projects, including the development,
construction, financing, acquisition and disposition of projects.
At the forefront of her field, Lisa helped a client obtain the first authorization from the DOE to export domestic natural gas as LNG to all trading partners, and represented the first bi-directional LNG terminals proposed in the United States in proceedings before FERC.
