Prior to joining Orrick, Anissa worked on employment matters as a trainee at Allen & Overy, and as a legal intern and legal specialist at Skadden and CMS in Paris.
Ms. Letsome works with litigation attorneys and third-party vendors to manage the review and production of documents relevant to investigations and litigation. This work includes using early case assessment technology to analyze, categorize and cull data. She also manages teams of skilled professionals performing document review, redaction, analysis, production and drafting privilege logs. Rebecca assists the litigation team to prepare for trial, including drafting deposition summaries, factual memoranda and exhibit charts. She also works with practice office attorneys on transactional tasks, including contract review and due diligence
Aurélien’s practice focus on restructuring and insolvency matters.
He advises debt funds, hedge funds and other stakeholders (creditors, investors, buyers or debtors) in the context of financial or operational restructurings, whether amicable or judicial. He also advise entrepreneurs, managers, companies and investors on corporate matters independent of their restructuring activity.
Ranked "Next Generation Partner" in Restructuring by Legal 500 EMEA, Aurélien has recently acted for creditors and financial investors in high-stakes transactions involving listed companies such as Orpea, Pierre & Vacances - Center Parcs or Figeac Aero, as well as in various amicable and judicial midcap cases.
Prior to joining Orrick, Aurélien was a partner at an international UK law firm having previously worked in several international law firms based in Paris and New York.
His practice includes serving as bond and disclosure counsel on revenue and tax-supported bond transactions in a variety of financing structures, including fixed rate bonds, variable rate bonds, synthetic fixed rate bonds and conduit issues.
Chris has served as first-chair counsel in more than 75 cases, successfully resolving virtually every one of them; and has tried many cases to judgment, in all types of forums, including jury trials, bench trials, the ITC and arbitrations. His cases involve cutting-edge legal issues and run the full gamut of technologies, including data storage, mobile devices, semiconductors, computers, graphical user interfaces, flash memory and many other technologies.
Chris has been recognized by clients, peers, and multiple publications as a leading lawyer in the IP field. He has litigated patents at trial, before the ITC, and on appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Rich has counseled clients and rendered opinions on patent validity, infringement and freedom to use. He is a registered patent attorney with experience drafting patents and practicing before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Rich’s patent work has involved a wide range of technologies including image processing, 3d graphics, audio / video compression, computer hardware and software, e-commerce, network technologies, digital rights management and encryption.
Rich also helps companies address the novel litigation and transactional IP issues that arise when developing and working with AI and is a frequent lecturer on these topics.
