Sarah’s practice focuses on representing corporations and individuals in a variety of industries in complex business litigation and disputes. Sarah represents financial institutions, technology corporations, and other entities in a wide range of civil disputes.
Sarah has experience representing corporations in all stages of litigation, including pre-suit demands, motions to dismiss, fact and expert discovery and depositions, trial preparation, and trial.
Lauren has served as bond counsel and disclosure counsel in connection with public and privately placed debt for school districts, community college districts, cities, counties, affordable housing developments, higher education institutions, health care facilities, charter schools and waste management facilities. She has advised clients in California, Arizona, Nevada, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C.
Lauren has worked on various types of financing structures, including general obligation financings, revenue bond financings, tax and revenue anticipation financings, conduit financings, variable rate financings and current and advance refundings.
Prior to Orrick, Lauren was a research analyst with the California Debt and Investment Advisory Commission.

Emily received her JD from the University of Washington, where she was a member of the Technology Law and Public Policy clinical program and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts.
Prior to joining Orrick, Emily worked as a musician. She has released several recording projects, including an LP with Refresh Records.

Ariel also assists clients with artificial intelligence and intellectual property issues in connection with commercial agreements and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Orrick, Ariel worked with a property-tech startup and a cruise line, supporting their marketing teams with CAN-SPAM and TCPA compliance. She also filed trademark applications for early-stage startups on a pro bono basis.

Aerielle also has experience working with a team in a high-profile intellectual property matter.
Aerielle is also active in pro bono matters, primarily focusing her practice on a wrongful death action against an ICE subsidiary.

Lindsay has experience with trade dress and trademark litigation in federal district courts, trademark proceedings before the International Trade Commission, and cancellation and opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also has extensive experience with copyright litigation before the federal district courts, trademark prosecution and clearance, domain name monitoring, and Uniform Domain-Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) matters.
Prior to joining Orrick, Lindsay attended Columbia Law School where she participated as a student editor for the Columbia Journal of Law & the Arts.
