Prior to his career in law, Will worked in revenue operations and strategy for two venture-backed software companies. A self-proclaimed excel nerd, Will leverages his quantitative experience to provide the companies he represents with practical approaches to complex transactions.
Maya represents pharmaceutical and biotechnology innovators in complex, high-stakes intellectual property disputes.
Prior to joining Orrick, Maya clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge David Estudillo of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Maya earned her law degree with Honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she served as Online Editor for the University of Chicago Law Review.
Aurélien’s practice focus on restructuring and insolvency matters.
He advises debt funds, hedge funds and other stakeholders (creditors, investors, buyers or debtors) in the context of financial or operational restructurings, whether amicable or judicial. He also advise entrepreneurs, managers, companies and investors on corporate matters independent of their restructuring activity.
Ranked "Next Generation Partner" in Restructuring by Legal 500 EMEA, Aurélien has recently acted for creditors and financial investors in high-stakes transactions involving listed companies such as Orpea, Pierre & Vacances - Center Parcs or Figeac Aero, as well as in various amicable and judicial midcap cases.
Prior to joining Orrick, Aurélien was a partner at an international UK law firm having previously worked in several international law firms based in Paris and New York.
Claudia advises banks, private debt funds, sponsored investment vehicles, large corporations, and SMEs on domestic and cross-border leveraged and acquisition finance transactions, as well as corporate finance and refinancing transactions.
Before specializing in banking and finance, Claudia was also involved in M&A transactions, and she gained some experience in assisting Italian and foreign companies and private equity funds both in the corporate and in the financial aspects of acquisition and investment transactions.
Prior to joining Orrick, Andrew served as General Counsel to Buckley LLP, providing counsel and advice to firm management and lawyers on a wide range of legal and risk management issues, including ethics, conflicts and loss prevention. He was also a Buckley Partner, representing consumer financial services clients in government enforcement actions, complex and class action litigation, regulatory examinations, and internal investigations, as well as in a variety of regulatory and compliance matters. Andrew also served as Secretary of Buckley’s charitable foundation, and as a member of the Pro Bono and E-Discovery committees.
As a partner, he represented public and private high growth technology companies, and venture capital funds in a broad range of industries including, energy, semiconductors, Internet, software and consumer products. He has extensive experience in start-up enterprises, venture financings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and has advised companies and investors in cross border transactions involving Asia.
Larry was appointed in 1995 by President Clinton as one of four U.S. representatives to serve on the panel of arbitrators of the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes. He has served as an officer and board member for numerous non-profit organizations. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Ascend, the largest network of Asian professionals.
Larry has published articles that have appeared in publications of the California Continuing Education of the Bar and the Practicing Law Institute. He has made presentations to the Practicing Law Institute, Law Journal Seminars, Silicon Valley Association of Start up Entrepreneurs, University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, University of California at Berkeley, Haas Business School, UC Berkeley Law and the California State Bar among others. He was a lecturer at Stanford Law School during the Fall of 2024.
