Robyn regularly works with both established borrowers and first-time borrowers to assist with structuring and restructuring debt programs that encompass a wide variety of debt and derivative products. In 2015, Robyn led the team that represented a private fund in connection with financing the management transfer of a multi-hospital nonprofit healthcare system to a subsidiary of the private fund, including negotiations with existing creditors. The financing involved an innovative bond structure that balanced current and future committed liquidity needs and debt burden. Robyn is also continually recognized for her excellent and sound judgment with respect to disclosure issues, including the difficult disclosure decisions caused by financial pressures from healthcare reform, affiliation activities, pension liabilities, governmental inquiries and investigations, labor disputes and qualified audit opinions.

In 2013, Robyn was elected a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel. She is one of the founding members of the Northern California Chapter of Women in Public Finance and currently serves on its advisory board. As a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, Robyn has been a panelist on the Health Care Financing Panel at the annual conference in 2003, 2004 and 2006. Before joining the firm, Zachary served as a law clerk to Judge Cornelia Pillard of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and Judge Amit Mehta of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Zachary graduated first in his class from Duke University School of Law, where he served as a Notes Editor of the Duke Law Journal and an Executive Editor of the Environmental Law & Policy Forum. He also participated in the school’s Environmental Law & Policy Clinic and published two student notes. Zachary was a consultant for the Environmental Protection Agency before law school.

Meg helps online service providers comply with online safety and consumer protection laws by marrying her knowledge of the data-driven environment with a decade of experience in white-collar and regulatory investigations. She also advises her clients on developing Trust & Safety compliance programs to manage the risks of misleading or harmful content online such as child exploitation or hate speech that could lead to investigations or litigation.

As a crisis responder, Meg assists clients at every stage, from starting a dialogue with regulators to responding to formal inquiries to managing investigations. She has led diverse teams of lawyers and consultants in conducting investigations, including those initiated by the DOJ, SEC, FTC, OIG, State AGs, and Congress. She has also acted on both sides of corporate Monitorships, serving on two Monitorship teams, and representing two international companies undergoing years-long scrutiny of an external Monitor. Meg co-leads Orrick’s Orange County women’s inclusion network. Jamie L. Herkins Project Attorney

Jamie works with litigation attorneys and third party vendors to manage the review and production of documents relevant to investigations and litigation. This work includes using early case assessment technology to analyze, categorize and cull data. She also manages teams of skilled professionals performing document review, redaction, analysis, production and drafting privilege logs. Jamie assists the litigation team to prepare for trial, including drafting deposition summaries, factual memoranda and exhibit charts. She also works with practice office attorneys on transactional tasks, including contract review and due diligence.

Prior to joining Orrick, Jamie clerked with Judge John T. Mullaney, Jr. in the Superior Court of New Jersey Monmouth Vicinage and was an associate at Lucas & McGoughran, LLC in Oakhurst, New Jersey.

Logan has experience managing a wide-variety of complex discovery matters including multi-district antitrust litigation, ;class actions, intellectual property litigation, contract disputes, product liability actions, and internal and regulatory investigations. He assists with all aspects of the discovery process, including: coordinating the preservation, collection, review and production of information; conducting IT and custodian interviews; propounding and responding to written discovery; participating in meet and confer negotiations; and assisting in discovery motions practice.

Patrick's practice focuses on complex patent and other intellectual property matters. He has represented petitioners and patent owners in dozens of inter partes review proceedings relating to technologies such as automotive safety systems, catalytic materials, engine oil additives, and hard drive and other computer components.  Patrick also prosecutes patents before the USPTO in the chemical and material science fields.

In addition, Patrick has more than a decade of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in more traditional patent litigation. He has been involved in all phases of litigation, from developing initial strategy through appeal. Patrick has appeared in intellectual property cases before a variety of different federal district courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the International Trade Commission.
