S. Chris Min, a partner in the New York office, is a member of the Structured Finance Group. Chris represents issuers, sponsors, underwriters, and other market participants in connection with public offerings and private placements of various asset-backed securities as well as other types of asset financing and sales.

Chris has broad experience with several asset classes, including credit card and charge card receivables, auto loans and leases, dealer floorplan loans, consumer loans, small business loans, and municipal bonds. Chris also regularly advises financial institutions on the application of securities laws and other regulations affecting the financial industry.

    • Advise American Express as transaction counsel and as underwriters’ counsel on registered and unregistered securitization transactions.
    • Represent the designated underwriters’ counsel on Nissan’s registered transactions under its auto lease, auto loan and dealer floorplan securitization programs.
    • Represented the designated underwriters’ counsel on all of Ally Financial’s and Ally Bank’s registered and unregistered prime and non-prime auto loan dealer floor plan securitization programs.
    • Representing a consumer lender focusing on low-to-moderate income borrowers in multiple funding strategies, including term securitizations, warehouse facilities and whole loan sales as well as regulatory advice.
