Florent Lewkowicz focuses on mergers & acquisitions (including Tech M&A), private equity and complex financial restructurings.

Florent Lewkowicz's practice focuses on corporate law as well as mergers & acquisitions in France and worldwide.

He developed particular experience in the sale and acquisition of startups, as well as in transactional and corporate law matters relating to complex financial restructurings.

Florent has been involved in major financial restructurings (Orpea, Casino group) and major exits, particularly in France and the USA (Getaround/Drivy, Glose/Medium, Lalilo/Renaissance Learning, Tempow/Google, Context/Integral Ad Science, Cajoo/Flink, Heap/ContentSquare).

Prior to joining Orrick in November 2018, Florent was an associate at a leading US law firm.

    • Aptean, a global provider of mission-critical enterprise software solutions, in its acquisition of Groupe Mistral, a French provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions designed for dealers and distributors of agricultural and construction equipment;

    • Geogas LNG in its acquisition of a stake in Gazocean;
    • Cajoo Technology, a large instant delivery startup based in France, in connection with its sale to Flink;

    • Nobilia, European industrial leader in the manufacture of kitchen furniture, in its acquisition of a stake in Groupe Abbou, the holding company of the group Aviva;
    • Lalilo, a Paris-based startup offering a web application in SaaS mode dedicated to learn-to-read, in connection with its sale to U.S.-based Renaissance Learning, Inc. (Renaissance);
    • Glose, a Paris-based startup specializing in the distribution of ebooks, in connection with its sale to Medium, the U.S. micro-blogging social network;
    • the French water treatment group Saur in its acquisition of the Dutch company Nijhuis Industries, a leader in the industrial water treatment sector;
