Connor has experience representing sponsors, investors, and lenders in financings and equity transactions relating to solar, battery, and storage projects, as well as purchasers in acquisitions of infrastructure assets.

Over the course of his career, Preston has tried more than 50 criminal cases to verdict, representing individual and corporate clients in complex federal white collar criminal cases, governmental and civil proceedings and congressional and internal investigations. He also has handled more than 10 appeals before the D.C. Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit and Fourth Circuit.
His work is punctuated by numerous front-page cases, representing such high-profile clients as Monica Lewinsky, former CIA intelligence agent Aldrich H. Ames and former FBI Special Agent Robert Hanssen. He has represented business executives and companies in areas such as public corruption investigations, criminal antitrust matters, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and export control violations, False Claims Act (FCA) cases and procurement fraud. Many of his cases have involved cross-border investigations, including extradition requests and multi-jurisdictional enforcement actions. He has also handled congressional investigations, as well as numerous matters involving national security issues, including the representation of several intelligence agency officials and serving most recently as an amicus appointed by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
Since 2010, Preston has been ranked as a leading lawyer in White Collar Crime & Government Investigations by Chambers USA, which noted, “He is renowned throughout the legal community as someone with great trial skills and a great strategic sense." Before joining Orrick, Preston was a partner at Buckley LLP and a member of the firm’s partner board. He joined Buckley from Poe & Burton PLLC, a boutique litigation firm he co-founded in 2011. Prior to that, he led the litigation practice of Orrick’s Washington, D.C. office. Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Boyce F. Martin Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.

Constance started her career at Orrick in 2013, before joining the project finance legal desk of Bouygues Construction at the end of 2018 for two years. She rejoined Orrick in 2021.

Since joining Orrick, John has advised sponsors on the financing of greenfield solar energy projects, navigating complex legal and commercial issues to achieve successful outcomes.
With a career spanning global law firms and senior in-house roles, John has developed deep expertise in drafting and negotiating finance documents and structuring cross-border transactions. His experience includes acting for both sponsors and lenders across a range of sectors.
John earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Business from Monash University and is admitted to practice in New York and Victoria, Australia.

Mason has a particular focus on real property matters, including negotiating site control documents, implementing shared facilities structures, and navigating title, survey and mineral issues. Harry has broad experience representing a wide array of clients in all stages of litigation. He's worked with clients in bet-the-company disputes from the pre-litigation stage through motion practice, discovery, expert depositions, summary judgment motions, extensive pre-trial preparations, trials, and appeals. Separate from his successes in both state and federal litigation, Harry has also helped guide clients big and small through arbitration disputes.
Prior to joining Orrick, Harry worked as a litigation associate at a major international law firm in New York.
While in law school, Harry served as articles editor for the Georgetown Law Journal, interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, and represented inmates as part of GULC's Death Penalty Practicum. Harry won Georgetown's 68th Annual Beaudry Moot Court Competition and served as coach and board member of the Appellate Advocacy team. Prior to law school, Harry worked as a trial preparation assistant with the Bronx District Attorney's Office and as an intern at the United Nations.
