Hagit represents clients in international arbitrations across the world under the rules of all the major arbitral institutions including the ICDR/AAA, ICC and LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, JAMS and CPR and in cross-border disputes in courts across the United States. She has also served as an expert witness on New York law in proceedings in Canada and the United Kingdom.
Hagit is recognised as ‘a force to be reckoned with’ (Legal 500) who ‘thinks ten steps ahead’’ (Chambers) and has “astonishing legal skills”, including the ability “to analyze and sharpen arguments”. She was recognized as one of a select group of "Distinguished Leaders" by New York Law Journal (2021).
Hagit regularly teaches courses on arbitration and advocacy skills, sits as arbitrator and frequently writes and lectures on topics related to international business disputes. She is a member of the ICC Court of International Arbitration Commission, former chair of the Arbitration Committee of the International Institute of Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR), a current member of the CPR Council, ICC Commission, and a founding Board Member of the New York International Arbitration Center.

Before joining Orrick, Eliza served as a law clerk to Judge Paul J. Watford on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Judge Jesse M. Furman on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan. She also worked as a temporary Special Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee on the confirmation of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

A natural advocate, Sunny has first chaired litigation from inception through favorable resolution and successfully briefed and argued dispositive motions and appeals. Sunny is adept at all stages of discovery, comfortable with cross-border disputes, and experienced in both government and internal investigations. Sunny also has particular knowledge regarding the nuances of alternative dispute resolution, including drafting and enforcement of both B2B and B2C arbitration provisions.
Sunny jumpstarted his career by honing his research and writing skills as law clerk to Chief Judge Kimberly J. Mueller of the federal District Court in Sacramento and judicial extern to the late Judge Harry Pregerson of the Ninth Circuit. Before law school, Sunny served for several years as a trade attache for the French government, covering the oenology and viticulture sector.

Francesca has guided the preparation of significant litigation and arbitration matters, from the drafting stage through discovery, depositions, expert and lay witnesses, and through motions and trial. Having served on a secondment to a Fortune 5 client, she understands well the importance of effective and proactive case management. Francesca provides empathetic, targeted advice to clients, and she moves matters forward with energy and efficiency.
Prior to working in private practice, Francesca served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Judge Ivan D. Davis, United States Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia. In that role, she handled primarily civil discovery matters.
