She has represented clients on some of the most high-profile cases before the European Commission, Competition & Markets Authority, Financial Conduct Authority and other national competition agencies around the world. Vic advises clients across the sectors in which Orrick focuses, but she has a particular specialism in the tech, financial services and retail sectors. She is recommended in The Legal 500 UK as a “rising star” and is ranked as a Next Generation Partner.

Prior to joining Orrick, Vic was senior competition counsel at Bloomberg. There, she was responsible for the global management of competition law matters, showcasing her ability to provide legal support on an international scale and at the intersect of antitrust and fintech regulation.

Jennifer works with life sciences clients in the areas of genomics, genome editing, antibody therapeutics, immuno-oncology therapies, cell-based therapies, protein therapeutics, antisense technologies, and pharmaceutical compositions and formulations. She has experience in preparing and prosecuting US and foreign patent applications, strategic counseling and managing global patent portfolios, and performing due diligence, freedom to operate, and patentability analyses.

Prior to joining Orrick, Jennifer was a senior patent agent at a large national law firm in San Francisco.

Before becoming a patent agent, Jennifer was a postdoctoral fellow at the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease and she investigated cardiomyocyte differentiation from stem cells. Her doctoral studies at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies focused on transcriptional regulatory systems during organ development. She has co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles in the fields of genetics, molecular biology and cell biology.

Rachel's practice is focused on her client's transactional technology and intellectual property needs. Rachel represents clients at all stages of their life cycles and in a variety of technology-driven industries, including SaaS, artificial intelligence, gaming, entertainment, and media. Rachel has experience drafting commercial, licensing and other intellectual property and technology agreements. She also assists clients with intellectual property issues in connection with mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Orrick, Rachel spent three years working on the commercial and product counseling teams at Dropbox, Inc., and two years with the Department of Justice Anti-trust division. She was also an active member of the ChIPs Network focusing on advancing and connecting women in technology, law and policy while she was in law school.

KT graduated from the University of Washington School of Law, where he served as a Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review. He also was a member of the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where he advised entrepreneurs on early stage general corporate and intellectual property matters.

Prior to attending law school, KT was a graduate student researcher at the University of California, San Francisco. During grad school, he also worked in the technology transfer office where he helped to consult with inventors within the university to assess the patentability and commercialization prospects of their inventions.

He is also active in several pro bono cases involving the Geneva Convention IV’s application to the ongoing Russo-Ukraine war and that of a Ghanan family seeking asylum.

In 2020, Caleb graduated from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. While in law school, Caleb co-authored a brief argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and served as Editor for the UC Irvine Law Review.

Prior to law school, he worked for several years at J.P. Morgan Chase with positions in corporate finance, mortgage banking, credit card operations, and compliance.

Flavio is an Italian certified public accountant and statutory auditor (“Commercialista”) qualified and registered with the Rome Register of Italian certified accountants and auditors (“Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti and Registro dei Revisori Legali”) who has gained considerable experience working in well-established law firms both in the United States and also in Italy in the field of domestic and international taxation.

Flavio regularly assist clients in their start-up, scale-up, venture capital deals, internationalization processes, as well as for the taxation issues of extraordinary operations.

He has significant experience assisting mainly tech companies and multinational industrial groups with respect to tax issues.

Flavio is a regular lecturer in Financial Accounting at John Cabot University.

Co-Founder of BAIA Italia – Business Association Italy America, he contributes to the definition of the vision and strategy of the association.

Flavio is also a Member of the AIAF – Associazione Italiana degli Analisti e Consulenti Finanziari, study group on innovative startups.
