Manaf contributed to the Euro PP (Euro Private Placement) working group composed of several professional organizations under the leadership of Banque de France, the French Treasury and the Paris IDF Chamber of Commerce and Industry, designed to facilitate financing for intermediate-size enterprises (ISE) and SMEs to define a more harmonized legal framework for Euro PP transactions.

Manny Grillo Partner

In addition to troubled companies, his clients include investment funds, sponsors and other financial institutions, whom he counsels on insolvency and restructuring matters related to complex financings and securitizations. He also represents sellers and purchasers in distressed merger and asset transactions.

With significant experience across industries such as power, energy, real estate, transportation, technology, healthcare and financial services, Manny negotiates rescue and recapitalization financing transactions on behalf of both lenders and borrowers, including debtor-in-possession loans. He also litigates disputes arising in or from plan confirmations, lender liability matters, avoidance actions and liability management transactions. Minako Wakabayashi Partner

Minako has significant experience advising international and domestic sponsors and developers on complex and innovative projects. She was called upon by the Japanese government in structuring the renewable Feed-in-Tariff scheme in Japan and prepared the government’s model contracts for specific contracts (power purchase contract/interconnection contract), which are a key component of the Feed-in-Tariff scheme in Japan. Recently, she has also been handling numerous corporate PPA projects.

She was appointed as Auditor of the Japan Wind Power Association (JWPA) in May 2022.

Lana leverages her deep sell-side experience as Senior Counsel to one of the largest renewable energy developers in the world, with her extensive corporate buy-side knowledge, and background in electrical engineering, to advise effectively and close deals swiftly. Jason Lang Partner

Mr. Lang has litigated cases before district courts, state courts, and the International Trade Commission. He has an extensive practice in patent office proceedings, including ex parte reexaminations and inter partes reviews. He has been a top-filer in inter partes reviews. Recent matters include work with memories (DRAM, Flash and hard drives), semiconductor tools, semiconductor packaging, and design software.
