She advised on the employment and/or equity compensation aspects of a leading global technology company and a multinational digital communications technology conglomerate’s global acquisitions; various global transactions for GoPro, Sabre, and a U.S. social media company; the pre- and post-merger integration for DigiCert’s acquisition of Symantec’s Website Security Business; as well as the global acquisitions and global tender offers for a large number of pre-IPO clients. She has also advised companies such as Alcon, Pinterest, Elasticsearch, GitHub, Nvidia, Optimizely, Scale, Twist, Viasat, and Vice on global employment and equity compensation matters and transactions.

Jose assists technology companies with drafting, reviewing and negotiating of customer, vendor, partner, end-user and other contracts for a variety of products and services, including software, cloud service and software-as-a-service offerings. Jose also advises companies on open source software usage, including the development and implementation of internal open source policies and advising on risk and remediation of the use of potentially problematic software components.
Jose received his JD from Harvard Law School in 2017. Before joining Orrick, Jose was an attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton, working on various of intellectual property, data privacy and security, and transactional matters.

Kyle represents public and private companies and private equity funds in various domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions on both the buy-side and sell-side. Kyle is also experienced in advising clients on representation and warranty insurance and venture financings. As part of Orrick’s fintech and artificial intelligence working group, Kyle analyzes and creates thought leadership on novel legal issues related to crypto, web 3.0 and artificial intelligence.
