Greg counsels both issuers and underwriters in almost every aspect of tax-exempt financing and infrastructure development.

Greg’s experience in bond financing includes traditional issuers such as school districts, institutions of higher education, cities, counties, municipal utility districts and state agenciesadvising the issuers on both general obligation and revenue financings. In addition, Greg has represented numerous national and regional investment banks in the underwriting of municipal bonds.

    • Served as bond counsel for the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System in the sale of $398 million Revenue Financing System Bonds
    • Served as underwriters’ counsel representing Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in their purchase of $350 million Board of Regents of The University of Texas System Revenue Financing System Bonds
    • Served as underwriters’ counsel representing Hilltop Securities in their purchase of $72 million Board of Regents of Texas Woman’s University Revenue Financing System Bonds

    School Districts

    • Served as bond counsel for Leander Independent School District in the sale of $88 million Unlimited Tax Refunding Bonds
    • Served as bond counsel for Jarrell Independent School District in the sale of $10 million Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds
    • Served as underwriters’ counsel representing RBC Capital Markets, LLC in their purchase of $206 million Frisco Independent School District Unlimited Tax School Building and Refunding Bonds

    Cities

    • Served as bond counsel for the City of Elgin in the sale of $5 million certificates of obligation
    • Served as underwriters’ counsel representing Citigroup Global Markets in their purchase of $48 million City of San Angelo, Texas Waterworks and Sewer System Improvement Revenue Bonds
