Dina Dalessandro

Managing Associate

San Francisco

Dina is passionate about helping innovative companies resolve their domestic and international employment matters in a practical and scalable manner.

Dina advises employers on a wide range of employment law and workplace compliance issues, including global employment and immigration, data privacy, and challenges concerning the enforcement of employment agreements including confidentiality provisions and restrictive covenants. She works closely with in-house HR, benefits management, and legal counsel to identify solutions that fit each client's business needs. In addition, her counseling practice includes advice on new hires, relocations, terminations, and large-scale layoffs, as well as benefits and compensation plans. She also advises on global workplace policies and procedures, including employee handbooks, and has experience in conducting internal employee investigations.

Before joining Orrick, Dina worked at a boutique employment law firm counseling non-profit organizations and higher education institutions on domestic labor and employment law matters, and assisting in the defense of contract, wage and hour, and tort claims in mediation, and in California state and federal court. Dina also used to work in-house at a global internet company, where she regularly collaborated with internal HR, benefits, and compensations teams on a wide range of matters and developed firsthand experience in learning how to effectively meet client needs.
