Renee has successfully defended employers in federal and state court litigations as well as administrative proceedings and arbitrations involving claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, whistleblowing, trade secret misappropriation and other employment-related claims. She regularly counsels employers on a variety of employment-related issues and assists clients in creating and implementing human resources policies, whistleblower policies, negotiating and drafting executive contracts, restrictive covenants and other employment agreements, and conducting internal investigations.
Renee is the co-author of the PLI treatise, Corporate Whistleblowing in the Sarbanes-Oxley/Dodd-Frank Era. She regularly writes and speaks on whistleblower and other employment topics.
Philip frequently acts on M&A, private equity and equity capital markets transactions in a range of sectors, including in the energy and infrastructure, technology and financial services sectors, and has experience in working with a range of clients, including institutional investors, funds, private equity and large private and listed companies.
Phil provides valuable complex litigation and class action litigation experience, including for clients like Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Blackstone.
Phil has broad experience representing corporations in all stages of litigation, including pre-suit demands, motions to dismiss, fact and expert discovery and depositions, summary judgment, trial preparation, and trial. Phil has drafted various briefs for federal and state proceedings encompassing numerous substantive issues, including administrative law, constitutional law, civil procedure, evidentiary issues, business and contract disputes, and class actions.

Philippa’s experience includes advising on a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint venture arrangements and project agreements in the context of renewable energy investments and financings. She also represents clients in other commercial transactions and energy-related projects.
Leon is a trilingual disputes lawyer educated in Germany and England, who handles complex commercial disputes, post-M&A litigation, and antitrust damages claims. He advises and represents clients in the technology, infrastructure, and energy sectors, handling high-value cases in the German courts and under the major arbitration rules including the ICC, DIS, and VIAC.
Leon also has experience in cross-border litigation including between parties from, inter alia, the U.S., France, the Netherlands, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland and Germany, and antitrust law (merger control, market dominance cases, investigations, compliance, etc.) and delivers strategic solutions for clients facing intricate legal and regulatory challenges both in Germany and internationally.
