Depuis plus de 30 ans, il conseille des opérateurs publics et privés, des entités gouvernementales, des constructeurs et des institutions financières dans la réalisation de leurs projets de construction et le financement de grands projets d'énergie (solaires, énergie renouvelables, biomasse…) et d'infrastructures (route, ferroviaire, portuaire et aéroportuaire, nucléaire…) en Europe, en Afrique et en Amérique Latine.
Il a notamment conseillé EDF, IFC et le gouvernement du Cameroun (en tant qu'investisseur) sur le développement et le financement du projet hydroélectrique de Nachtigal (420 MW) au Cameroun, l'un des plus grands projets hydroélectriques indépendants (IPP) prévus en Afrique ; Total Eren et Visolar sur le financement du projet de la centrale solaire photovoltaïque de Villarpando 100 Mwac en République Dominicaine ; Des institutions de financement d'un Groupement candidat pour l'attribution de la concession de l'autoroute A 412 "du Chablais" en France, a conseillé Bouygues Construction et Colas, un groupement d'offres confidentiel dans le cadre du financement, la construction et l'exploitation de la concession du Contournement Ouest de Strasbourg (A355).
Il dispose également d’une expérience notable dans le cadre d’acquisitions françaises et internationales dont notamment le conseil d’’Alkion Terminals France SAS, une filiale d'InfraVia Capital Partners, dans le cadre de son acquisition d'installations de stockage de liquides en vrac en France, au Portugal et en Espagne auprès de LBC Tank Terminals, conseil d’InfraVia dans le cadre de l'acquisition d'une participation substantielle dans une société ad hoc exploitant un aéroport européen.

Siegfried was a member of the Advisory Board of the American Arbitration Association (2009 to 2020) and a member of the Panel of Conciliators of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) (2011 to 2017). He was a member of the Board of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS) (2012 to 2022) and has been a member of the DIS Council (since 2022). Focused on helping public and private companies in achieving their global “net zero” carbon commitments, Teresa has a particular emphasis on negotiating renewable energy power purchase agreements (PPAs). She has partnered with some of the largest corporate buyers of renewable energy, working to expand the global footprint of their energy portfolios in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
Teresa has extensive experience with wind, solar and storage projects and, specifically, the negotiation of development-related agreements, including virtually and physically settled renewable power purchase agreements.
Prior to joining Orrick, Teresa was a partner in the energy and infrastructure group of a global law firm and in the environment, land use and natural resources and renewable energy groups of a Portland-based law firm. She also clerked for Chief Justice Linda Copple Trout, the first woman appointed to the Idaho Supreme Court.

Alex represents project sponsors, developers, and private equity investors on a wide range of transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors with a particular focus on renewable energy matters. He regularly advises clients on the development, construction, operation, purchase and disposition of solar, battery storage, wind, biomass, waste-to-energy, and other renewable energy projects.

He currently is national coordinating counsel for a major oil company in connection with its climate change litigation. He previously served as co-lead counsel to a major international pharmaceutical manufacturer in the defense of nationwide litigation challenging industry pricing practices.
Rob’s experience includes extensive work in antitrust and False Claims Act cases, claims alleging fraud, and agency enforcement actions. His pharmaceutical industry activities include service as outside counsel to and Corporate Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Security Institute, Inc., the industry’s not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to the fight against pharmaceutical counterfeiting.
He is Managing Editor of The World in U.S. Courts, Orrick’s quarterly review of court decisions addressing personal jurisdiction over non-U.S. parties and the extraterritorial application of U.S. law to global business and cross-border activities.
