Dr. Xiang Wang is the Co-Chair of Orrick’s Global Advisory Board, Partner in Charge for Asia and the head of China IP practice, splitting his time between three offices: Shanghai, New York and Beijing, where he is the Managing Partner.

Xiang is a Guiding Expert of the China Overseas IP Dispute Response & Guidance Center. Xiang has been particularly active in Chinese state-owned enterprises related U.S. litigation. Andrea regularly works on M&A and private equity transactions in the energy and infrastructure industries, assisting sponsors, developers and investors in the acquisition or sale of totality, majority or minority shareholdings, and in project construction/management related matters. He has advised on projects in Italy, the UK, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Ghana and Namibia.
Andrea also has significant experience in financing transactions, having assisted various sponsors in a number of project finance, asset finance, refinancing and leasing transactions. Dr. Nicholas Kessler, Partner in the Düsseldorf Office, is a member of the International Arbitration Group. Nicholas graduated from law school in 2003 (University of Munster), earned a PhD in law and an Executive Master of Business Administration (M&A) in 2005 and was allowed to the German bar in 2007. In 2008 he received a Master of Laws diploma from the University of Cambridge (UK) and was entered on the roll as Solicitor of England & Wales in 2010.
