Julie is an associate with the Public Policy Group in Orrick’s New York office.Julie helps clients facing state legislative and regulatory challenges develop and implement public policy campaigns across the country. As part of these efforts, she works with company representatives and lobbyists to develop state legislative strategies on complex issues, draft and provide testimony, create advocacy materials, and educate key stakeholders.
Livia joined the firm in 2015 and currently is a Managing Associate at Orrick.
Livia obtained her law degree in 2014 from Bocconi University with 110/110 and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2016.
She currently cooperates with the chair of Commercial Law (Diritto Commerciale) of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, Faculty of Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences, Prof. Michele Mozzarelli.
Livia has wide experience both on local and cross-border M&A transactions, including industrial and Private Equity deals. Livia is also experienced with venture capital deals having assisted VC funds, angel investors and founders in a wide number of deals and she is member of the Tech Group of the firm.
Helen Pennock is a Public Finance associate in Orrick's New York office.
Helen has participated as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, disclosure counsel and borrower's counsel on municipal bond transactions in the affordable housing, not-for-profit, higher education, charter school and health care sectors.
Prior to joining Orrick, Helen was an Assistant Counsel at New York State Homes & Community Renewal. Immediately after law school, she was an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US LLP in the structured finance group.
Roberto Percoco is an Italian qualified lawyer, Managing Associate in the Finance Team, based in the Rome Office.
He specialises in finance transactions with particular emphasis on debt capital markets, including Covered Bonds and Mini-Bonds, on which he has gained significant expertise.
In these areas, he advises major banks acting as arrangers and lead managers, and issuers.
He graduated in law at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", with 110/110 and obtained a Master's degree in Corporate Counsel at the LUISS Business School University in Rome in 2012.
He is Italian mother tongue and fluent in English.
Federico Perego has an extensive background in corporate and commercial law and dispute resolution matters. In recent years, he has been involved in several energy projects and in corporate reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings, insolvency and liquidation matters.
Prior to joining Orrick, Federico was associate at Agnoli Bernardi and, before, at Pavia e Ansaldo.
In 2006, he obtained a LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of London.
Besides being admitted to the Milan Bar Association, Federico was admitted to the Roll of England and Wales as a solicitor (non practicing).
Joseph Z. Perkins, a partner in Orrick's Silicon Valley office, is a member of the Technology Companies Group, which advises emerging companies and venture capital firms.
Joseph focuses his practice on providing private venture financing and merger and acquisition services to Internet, high tech, and clean technology companies in the United States and Japan.
Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, Joseph spent four years as an officer of a company that provides language and travel services to Japanese travelers.
Monica Perrigino, a Managing Associate in Orrick’s New York office, is a member of the Restructuring Group. Monica represents a variety of financial institution creditors in restructuring-related matters.Monica Perrigino was a summer associate in the firm's New York office in 2014. From 2018 to 2019, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sean H. Lane in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Randolph Perry's practice focuses on real property, distressed assets and secured loan acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, and hospitality transactions.
Randy has assisted opportunity funds, operators/developers, pension funds, pension fund advisors, investment banks, financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions and private equity funds in the acquisition and disposition of real property, sale of distressed loan portfolios, and mezzanine and permanent financings.
Jessica R. Perry, Managing Partner, Practice and Sector Alignment, is a member of Orrick’s senior leadership team. She also leads Orrick’s Litigation practices worldwide. As an employment litigator, she represents tech, retail and financial industry leaders in their most significant class, collective, representative and multi-plaintiff actions.
Jessica defends employers from discrimination and harassment claims on the basis of gender, race, religion, disability, age and other protected categories. She recently defeated class certification in cases alleging discrimination against women in technical roles for Microsoft and Twitter, earning her The American Lawyer’s "Litigator of the Week” award. She also won a complete defense verdict for Kleiner Perkins in the highly publicized gender discrimination and retaliation case Pao v. Kleiner Perkins, which the Daily Journal named the year’s ‘Top Verdict.’ Her trial victories also include winning defense judgments in cases involving claims of religious discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination. Jessica also specializes in pay equity matters, including in designing analyses and advising on compliance and risk mitigation. Clients interviewed by Chambers note, “She's very thorough and knows the details and procedure, without allowing anything to fall through the cracks."
Jessica has a winning record in beating back class certification in high stakes wage-and-hour actions in federal and state court, including those brought under the Private Attorney General Act. Having led over 150 high-stakes wage-and-hour class action matters, Jessica has broad experience on virtually every theory of relief. She also offers strategic guidance to help businesses avoid wage-and-hour litigation, particularly companies in the gig economy industry which can be significantly impacted by such matters.
In addition to litigation and counseling, Jessica has successfully guided clients through investigations and audits by the Department of Labor, California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and California Employment Development Department, and helped develop compensation policies and measures to reduce potential exposure.
Jessica is also an expert in generational workplace issues and frequently speaks on employment engagement in a multi-generational workforce.
Chris is an associate in Orrick's Technology Companies Group. He advises on a wide variety of corporate law issues affecting early to late stage technology companies and those who invest in them, with a particular emphasis on venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions.Prior to joining Orrick, Chris trained and worked at a major international law firm where he advised on several large M&A transactions as well as a number of private equity and venture capital investments.
Mandy Perry, a partner in the London office, is a member of the Employment Group. Mandy’s practice includes acting in high value litigation disputes in the High Court and Employment Tribunal where she has gained particular expertise in claims involving whistleblowing, discrimination and post termination restrictions.
Mandy specialises in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law and advises clients across diverse sectors with particular emphasis on corporate and technology clients.
Mandy advises on the strategy and handling of redundancies, wrongful and unfair dismissals, TUPE, cross-border disputes, financial services remuneration issues, data protection and a full spectrum of employment-related legal issues.

Jessica Pers, a lawyer in Orrick's San Francisco office, is a member of the Litigation Group and focuses on civil litigation, emphasizing antitrust, franchise litigation, trademark and copyright disputes and class actions.Jessica has handled both jury and non-jury trials and injunction proceedings in federal and state courts and has extensive experience in extraordinary writ practice and appeals before California and federal courts.
Additionally, she has advised clients in the computer industry and various manufacturing and service fields on trademark, copyright and antitrust issues, including issues relating to domain name use on the Internet. She has handled cases for major franchisers in the automotive service and home health care industries as well as state and federal antitrust actions against Microsoft, Levi Strauss & Co. and many television and movie studios. Recently, Jessica has had primary responsibility for large consumer class actions settlements arising from antitrust litigation against Microsoft.
Before joining Orrick, Jessica was a shareholder at Heller Ehrman LLP. She was Managing Partner of that firm from 1992 to 1995 and Chair of the Promotion Evaluation Committee from 2001 to 2007.
