Rochelle has experience representing individuals and companies in all stages of complex civil and criminal litigation, from pleadings through trial, final judgment, and appeal. Rochelle practices in both federal and state courts across the country. 

Before joining Orrick, Rochelle served as law clerk to the Honorable Steven L. Tiscione in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. 

Rochelle's current engagements include representing companies in complex commercial cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets, employment disputes, and products liability claims, as well as a number of pro bono engagements.

Perry Teicher, an attorney based in Orrick's New York office, serves on the leadership of Orrick's global Impact Finance & Investment group as the Impact Finance Attorney, advising impact-oriented clients globally.

Perry represents and advises entrepreneurs, fund sponsors, family offices, and tax exempt organizations across a wide range of transactions, including corporate legal matters, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private fund formation matters and portfolio transactions, and private placements. Perry particularly advises clients that aim to integrate social, environmental, and financial outcomes. As Orrick's Impact Finance Attorney, Perry leads Orrick's Impact Finance & Investment practice, the first impact-oriented practice at a global law firm. Perry served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan, where he supported the development of businesses aiming to create mobility and opportunity for people with disabilities in the region. Perry is a Ariene de Rothschild Fellow and member of the ROI Community and Nexus. A native of the Detroit area and University of Michigan graduate, Perry remains committed to the Detroit area, supporting Detroit expat initiatives nationally.

José Mario Valdés is a Managing Associate in Orrick’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group.

José Mario represents clients in complex, multidistrict, and class action litigation.  Prior to clerking, he worked as a litigation associate at a global law firm representing companies in complex commercial disputes involving claims of fraudulent transfer and successor liability.  He also represented clients facing regulatory enforcement actions before the SEC for alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Pay to Play regulations.  His pro bono experience includes representing low income tenants in NY Housing Court and asylum seekers in removal proceedings.

José Mario received his JD from Columbia Law School and a bachelor’s degree in Government from Harvard College.

Peter earned his reputation as one of the country’s most prominent trademark lawyers by safeguarding international and domestic brands. In addition to trademark, Peter has litigated trade dress, false advertising, copyright, product disparagement, anti-counterfeiting and trade secret matters on behalf of startups and Fortune 50 companies.

Amy Walsh, a partner in Orrick’s New York office, is the former Chief of the Business and Securities Fraud Section of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Walsh was an Assistant United States Attorney for 12 years in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where she led dozens of investigations and cases on behalf of the government, and supervised several sections within the Office.

Ms. Walsh is a trusted advisor to her clients, who hire her to handle matters involving government and internal investigations.  

Throughout her time in private practice, Ms. Walsh has represented individuals and institutions in government investigations, enforcement actions, and prosecutions conducted by various government agencies including the U.S. Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Internal Revenue Service. Ms. Walsh litigates cases in federal and state court, negotiates with representatives of government enforcement agencies, and advises clients on compliance issues.

In addition, Ms. Walsh served as the court-appointed Independent Reviewer in JPMorgan Chase’s settlement with the United States Department of Justice, where she was responsible for ensuring JPMC’s fulfillment of its obligations under the settlement agreement and publicly reporting on JPMC’s compliance.

Ms. Walsh serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers, and was named by Super Lawyers as one of the top 50 women lawyers in the New York metro area.
