Julien Beloeil is an M&A, Private Equity and Equity Capital Market lawyer based in Orrick’s Paris office.
Julien assists listed and unlisted companies, financial institutions, investors and founders in cross-border or domestic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, acquisition of stakes, strategic partnerships, as well as public tender offers.
Prior to joining Orrick, Julien worked on similar operations as a legal intern at international law firms in London and Paris. Julien also worked at the economic and financial section of the prosecutor’s office of the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris.
Emmanuel Bénard is an employment lawyer and Office Leader of the Paris’ office, respected for his deep experience with challenging restructuring and complex collective litigation, he is also Head of the Employment Law Practice for Europe.
Emmanuel represents numerous French and international companies on all aspects of employment law including international and cross-border issues.
His practice focuses on reorganizations, collective redundancies. He notably advised key players of the Financial, Metal, Food and Beverages, Pharmaceutical, Technology, Leisure and Music Industries in implementing economic dismissals and voluntary departures. He also assists these clients with employee representation and collective bargaining and sensitive individual cases.
Emmanuel has a strong proficiency in collective litigation as well as criminal litigation and currently handles a number of sensitive cases arising from works council and health and safety committee information consultation procedure, professional elections, collective bargaining agreements and employees performance appraisal system.

David Benhamou, a managing associate in Orrick's Santa Monica office, is a member of the Technology Companies Group.
David represents high growth technology companies and venture capital firms in many areas, including corporate and securities law, formation, ongoing corporate matters, and venture capital financings.
David began his legal career as a corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. During his time at NYU School of Law, David worked with a number of startups.

Alan Benjamin is a bank lending and gaming industry lawyer based in Orrick's Los Angeles office. He counsels clients nationwide on complex financial transactions and restructurings, including secured and unsecured loan transactions, project financings, leveraged buy-outs, dividend recapitalizations and insolvency matters.
In the 2019 California Banking & Finance category of Chambers USA, clients describe Alan as "dean of the West Coast finance practice," adding that "he is able to help navigate several open items to a successful conclusion with both parties being very satisfied." Alan has particular experience in lending to the gaming industry. In fact, Chambers USA notes that "his extensive financing practice includes particular expertise in lending transactions involving Native American tribes."
In addition to his practice responsibilities, Alan has held numerous firmwide positions, including recently as a member of Orrick's Board of Directors and as practice group leader of the firm’s Banking & Finance group. Robert’s commitment to service extends beyond his professional clients. Over the past 20 years, Robert has established programs in Asia, Africa, and North and South America that care for hundreds of at-risk children and enable them to attend universities and launch their careers. He is the founder of Arms of Love International, a charitable organization that operates family-based homes for abandoned or abused children, and Love Forward, a charitable organization that provides a higher education for students who have experienced violence and other forms of abuse. In his recently published book, Love Forward, Robert shares the life stories of some of the young women and men who grew up in the Arms of Love homes, together with his personal story, to encourage and inspire others in their own endeavors. In recognition of his service, Orrick awarded Robert its Community Responsibility Award in 2017.
Sabrina Benyammi is an associate in Orrick's Technology Companies Group.
She advises companies throughout their lifecycle, including in formation and general corporate matters, venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to advising companies, Sabrina represents leading venture firms in connection with their investments in private companies.
Maria Bergenhem advises companies on corporate matters from early stages through exit. She particularly enjoys seeing founders’ hard work pay off.
Maria works for clients across various growth stages and industries, with particular focus on financial services, pharmaceutical and software. She provides advice on tech company investments and corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions and private equity investments, and capital markets offerings. William D. Berry, a compensation and benefits senior counsel in the San Francisco office, has a broad practice in the area of employee benefits, including qualified retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation and welfare benefits.

Michele Bertani is a special counsel in Orrick’s Milan office.
As a lawyer, he has extensive experience in intellectual property and competition matters, especially in the fields of copyright, media and information technology legal problems, trademarks, patents, advertising and antitrust law.
Michele is a full professor of intellectual property law at the Law Faculty of the University of Foggia. He also teaches commercial law and competition law at the same Faculty, Competition Law at the IULM University in Milan.
Geoffroy Berthon is an Energy and Infrastructure Partner in Orrick's Paris office with a focus on public law and public contracts (notably concessions and PPP) as well as regulatory matters.
Geoffroy Berthon has an extensive experience in several key public infrastructure projects, railroad work infrastructures and hydroelectric concessions as well as renewable energies and marine sectors. He also works on regulatory and litigation matters notably in the energy sector.
He advises sponsors as well as lenders and he has been working with several public entities and governments, in France and Africa.
