Damon Stewart is an of counsel with our New York Public Policy practice. He utilizes more than two decades of experience in public affairs, lobbying and government relations to advise clients.
Damon focuses his practice on state and locally-based legislative and regulatory issues. He has experience inside of government when he served as assistant counsel to the New York Senate Majority as well as at the corporate level where he recently served as Vice President of Government Affairs and State Advocacy Coordinator for AT&T. Damon has collaborated with state-based internal lobbying, public affairs, tax, policy and legal teams to devise and implement strategic initiatives and coordinated communications between state and federal lobbying team.
Andrea is an Italian qualified lawyer, managing associate in Orrick's Milan office and a member of the firm's White Collar Criminal Defense practice. His practice focuses on criminal defence, internal investigation and regulatory enforcement. Andrea represents companies and individuals in connection with criminal and regulatory investigations and, over the last 10 years, he has worked on many of the most significant Italian criminal proceedings.
Andrea has extensive experience in cases involving anti-money laundering and export sanctions, financial crimes, corporate crimes, bankruptcy offenses, tax crimes, corruption and bribery in both the public and private sectors, environmental crimes, occupational health and safety offenses, intellectual property crimes, data protection and privacy crimes/cybercrimes.
Before joining Orrick, Andrea worked in the Milan office of Clifford Chance for eight years and, in 2017, he spent six months in the London office working both on UK and transnational matters
Sarah Stockley is a Senior Associate in the International Arbitration team with a particular focus on disputes arising out of the energy and technology sectors.
She has resolved disputes for clients in a variety of forums including international arbitration (with particular experience of ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and HKIAC Rules), English High Court Litigation and the DIFC, and mediation.

Davin M. Stockwell, an attorney in Orrick's Orange County office, is a member of the Intellectual Property Group.Davin has experience in litigating and prosecuting patents in a wide variety of technology fields, including in-flight entertainment systems, semiconductors, semiconductor fabrication, design verification, computer software and hardware, power systems, financial services, e-business, business methods, medical and dental devices, and biotechnology.
Davin's experience includes preparing petitions for inter partes review and requests for inter partes and ex parte reexamination, and he is lead counsel in several inter partes review proceedings. Davin also counsels clients with regard to intellectual property strategies and has experience with prosecution of trademark applications, registration of copyrights, and protection of trade secrets. He further provides counseling and opinion services with regard to a diverse range of intellectual property matters.
Prior to joining Orrick, Davin was an associate at Lyon & Lyon LLP. Before and during law school, he was employed as an electrical engineer, developing peripheral devices for portable computer applications. Davin further has over a decade of electrical and mechanical design experience with commercial and military systems.
Dianne Loennig Stoddard is counsel in the Washington, D.C., office and a member of the Structured Finance Group. She has extensive experience in complex financings nationwide.
Her practice primarily involves structured finance and the securitization of credit card and trade receivables. She also has extensive experience in public offerings and private placements of debt securities for state and local governments and nonprofit health-care providers. She has a broad range of knowledge in the representation of issuers, underwriters and guarantors.
Fiona Stone, a partner in the London office, is a member of the Real Estate Group. Fiona’s practice focuses on commercial conveyancing, including landlord and tenant.
Fiona has many years' experience across a broad range of real estate transactions. Her areas of expertise include buying and selling multi-tenanted mixed-use buildings and developments and the drafting and negotiation of various forms of land contract including option, pre-emption and overage agreements.
Fiona advises on all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant including leasing, licensing and strategic management advice and she has also represented clients on numerous financings and re-financings of multi-million pound developments.

Matthew advises on a range of matters with a focus on power (CCGT, biomass, wind, energy from waste, solar PV and hydroelectric) and infrastructure projects, M&A and energy commodities.
Matthew has extensive experience working in-house with clients. He has completed client secondments to the legal teams of three international companies (BNP Paribas - Trading Team, ENGIE - Gas and Power Team, Petrochina International - Gas, Power and LNG Team).
Laurie Strauch Weiss is a partner in the New York office. She represents clients in large, complex and multi-party class action litigation, and has handled significant actions involving the chemical, tobacco and medical device industries.
Laurie advises companies on overall strategies, from pre-litigation assessments to the final resolution of matters, which often involve novel scientific issues. Her clients frequently enlist her to strategically address the scientific claims asserted by non-governmental organizations, the plaintiffs' bar and consumer advocacy groups which affect the reputation of their products both before and during litigation.
Laurie is a frequent lecturer, author and media source on topics concerning mass tort/class actions, complex scientific issues and expert witnesses.
Prior to joining Orrick, Laurie was an associate at Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine LLP, where she gained extensive experience in complex litigation including class actions based on product liability, securities RICO and fraud claims.
Daniel Streim has a diverse civil and criminal practice that includes corporate compliance counseling, government investigations and enforcement actions, and complex business and financial services litigation. Dan has worked with clients across a wide array of industries, including tech, healthcare, and finance.
Dan represents industry-leading companies in sensitive and high-value disputes and compliance matters. He regularly counsels clients on white collar and regulatory issues involving a wide array of issues, including money laundering, fraud, and corruption, and has substantial experience representing financial institutions and individuals in government investigations and enforcement actions. He also represents corporate defendants in securities and commodities lawsuits and other complex business litigation matters.
Dan also assists clients in developing corporate compliance programs, preparing risk assessments, and conducting pre-acquisition and third-party due diligence. In particular, Dan advises clients on compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and state anti-money laundering laws. He helps financial institutions navigate an increasingly complex and aggressive enforcement environment, and regularly counsels clients--in particular financial technology companies--on federal and state licensing and anti-money laundering requirements for money transmitters and digital currency activity businesses.
Dan maintains a dedicated pro bono practice, and has represented clients in matters related to landlord-tenant rights, human trafficking, public international law, and veterans' benefits.
Will F. Stute is an experienced trial lawyer and trusted business advisor.
Will has significant first-chair trial experience in state and federal courts around the country and in a variety of arbitration forums. His practice focuses on complex civil and corporate litigation, multidistrict litigation, SEC regulatory work, internal corporate investigations, FCPA and other investigations, white-collar defense and class action litigation. Will is called on by clients to help them tackle their most challenging and complex disputes, frequently in the sports, financial services, private equity and defense industries, among others.
Will brings a winning record in state and federal courts around the country. He currently serves as national trial counsel for the NCAA in the concussion litigation. He also represented institutional investors who recovered tens of millions of dollars in connection with one of the largest Ponzi schemes in U.S. history. Will’s practice includes a broad spectrum of civil and criminal matters, including multi-district litigation, SEC regulatory work, internal corporate investigations and white collar and class action defense. Tammy Su is an associate in the Silicon Valley office and a member of Orrick’s Intellectual Property Group. Tammy’s practice services all aspects of intellectual property matters, including patent litigation, trade secret litigation, complex business litigation, and counseling.
Tammy graduated with honors from UC Hastings College of the Law. During law school, she served as extern to two district court judges in the Northern District of California and won multiple Best Brief awards for written advocacy as a member of the school’s nationally-ranked Moot Court program. She has a B.S. in Biochemistry from University of California, San Diego.
