Samantha DeLee is a member of the Orrick Analytics group. The group specializes in using technology and project management discipline to assist firm attorneys with litigation and transactional tasks, particularly tasks that involve large volumes of data and documents.

Samantha DeLee is a member of the Orrick Analytics group. The group specializes in using technology and project management discipline to assist firm attorneys with litigation and transactional tasks, particularly tasks that involve large volumes of data and documents.

Samantha primarily works on transactional matters performing due diligence, drafting deal documents, and reviewing contracts, utilizing a combination of various tools in technology and project management to streamline processes to ensure efficiency. Samantha also works with litigation attorneys and third-party vendors to manage the review and production of documents relevant to investigations and litigation. Her work includes using early case assessment technology to analyze, categorize, and cull data.

She was a member of the team recognized by the Financial Times for delivering novel solutions for business processes, including analyzing credit facility agreements, negotiating interest rate caps and conducting marketing compliance reviews. Samantha was also a member of the team recognized by the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) for its Value Champion Award for building a smart contracts model with the law department of Applied Materials.

On September 17, 2020, Samantha participated in a presentation of “Emerging Roles in Legal” to the annual International Legal Technology Association conference.

Prior to joining Orrick, Samantha worked as a State Income and Franchise Tax Consultant for Ryan LLC.
