Emily received her JD from the University of Washington, where she was a member of the Technology Law and Public Policy clinical program and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts.
Prior to joining Orrick, Emily worked as a musician. She has released several recording projects, including an LP with Refresh Records.

Tyler's practice has a focus on warehouse lending, secured credit facilities, and publicly registered and privately placed asset securitization transactions. His experience extends to various asset classes, encompassing marketplace consumer loans, solar loans, residential mortgages, student loans, credit card and charge card receivables, auto loans, and esoteric assets, including proved developed producing (PDP) oil and gas wellbores.
Before joining Orrick, Tyler was an associate in Chapman and Cutler LLP's Asset Securitization Department.

Tori also supports clients in developing strategies to reduce the risk of security incidents, regularly advises on general consumer protection issues, and counsels on sweepstakes, marketing, and advertising matters.
Prior to joining Orrick, Tori served as an in-house data privacy and security law clerk at a pharmaceutical company in Boston, at a large nonprofit corporation in New York City, and at an international oil and gas company in Beijing. She also worked on data privacy matters in the Office of the General Counsel of Northeastern University. Having worked across diverse business sectors, including life sciences, technology and energy, Tori brings an in-house perspective to her client matters.

He has extensive experience in the development and structuring of long-term power purchase agreements with respect to thermal (nuclear, coal and natural gas) and renewable generation facilities. He has also represented clients in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), auctions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and other general corporate matters.
Kyle has represented clients in various matters relating to the development, construction, ownership and operation of electric generation facilities in the United States, South America and Europe. His practice also includes the representation of clients seeking and obtaining substantial financing from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

Beginning in 2006, James has advised clients on a variety of asset-backed securities, including residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), re-securitizations of RMBS and collateralized debt obligations, and charter school receivable-backed securities. He has also represented municipal and state agencies for municipal bond transactions.
During the financial crisis, James advised clients on mortgage loan modifications, and advised municipal and state agencies on interest rate mode changes and bond refinancings.
Recently, James has worked on a number of RMBS and CMBS transactions.
James is an avid triathlete and winner of a number triathlons, including the 2016 North Carolina Ironman.

Caitlyn helps clients achieve their clean energy goals and leverage the energy transition, primarily through supporting them in negotiating renewable energy PPAs.
Caitlyn has also acted for clients on the acquisition, disposal, formation, structuring and operation of energy and critical infrastructure projects. This experience includes advising on renewable and conventional energy projects, electricity transmission regulations, natural gas exploration, transportation and storage, mining and resources projects, and the operations of major railways and ports.
