She regularly represents project developers and investors in energy project finance transactions, including tax equity and debt financing, preferred equity financing, joint ventures, private placements, and a broad range of corporate matters.
Lisa is on the Board of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of WRISE (Women of Renewable Energy and Sustainable Industries), and also has an active pro bono immigration practice representing undocumented victims of crime in obtaining U visas. Prior to practicing law, Lisa was a senior analyst with a policy consulting firm.

Reese's practice spans both criminal and civil litigation in the white collar, securities, and complex business litigation fields. He represents and advises a diverse range of clients, including individual executives navigating criminal liability and employment disputes, as well as publicly traded corporations responding to an array of civil claims.
As a law student, Reese worked as an intern at the San Francisco City Attorney's Office in the Litigation Division as well as working as an extern with Legal Services of Northern California.

Serena's practice focuses on representing individuals and companies in a broad range of industries in government and internal investigations, securities litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and other complex business litigation. Her experiences include conducting internal investigations and representing companies and individuals in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Drug Enforcement Agency. Serena represents companies in the technology and financial sectors in a wide range of civil disputes including claims of breach of contract and patent infringement.

Monica advises renewable energy developers in site acquisition, interconnection, and power purchase agreement negotiations, as well as on the environmental aspects of their transactions. In addition, Monica represents major corporate purchasers in the negotiation of renewable energy and sustainability related agreements to help them meet their global carbon reduction goals.
Drawing on past roles at an independent power producer and in climate policy, Monica helps clients navigate the energy sector’s dynamic business and legal landscape. Prior to joining Orrick, Monica was an energy and environment associate at a global law firm.

Ryan is a lawyer in the Energy and Infrastructure Group, which was recognized as Band 1 in Energy Transition by Chambers USA (2024) and was named by Chambers USA as the 2024 Energy and Projects Law Firm of the Year.
He has experience representing sponsors, investors and lenders in project development and finance (including debt and tax equity), mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate matters, including in the renewable energy, hydrogen/ammonia, renewable natural gas (RNG), sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), conventional energy, and maritime industries. Prior to joining Orrick, he practiced in Houston, Texas, at another global law firm and was the Managing Editor of the Texas Law Review.
Ryan also enjoys volunteering and has provided several hundred of hours of pro bono legal advice, primarily on small business and non-profit transactional needs.

Erin's practice covers all aspects of employment law. She defends employers in class actions and other complex cases, as well as in systemic investigations and audits by the EEOC, DOJ, and the California CRD. Erin has led dozens of internal pay equity analyses and is a trusted advisor for several of the nation's most prominent employers on developing areas of employment law, including pay equity and pay transparency, DEI best practices, and the use of AI in employment decision making.
Erin also is an accomplished first chair trial lawyer. She has tried several cases before juries and in arbitration, and has obtained numerous defense summary judgment rulings and other favorable resolutions in state and federal court. Erin led the trial team that obtained a complete dismissal for Oracle in OFCCP v. Oracle, the largest pay equity case ever brought by the US Department of Labor, which garnered national media attention and earned Erin recognition as a "Litigator of the Week" by the American Lawyer and a 2021 Employment MVP by Law360. As lead counsel, Erin also successfully obtained decertification in a statewide California pay equity class action, Jewett v. Oracle.
Erin's clients include leading technology and Fortune 500 companies, including: Oracle, Meta, Microsoft, Netflix, Pinterest, Workday, PayPal, Sony Interactive Entertainment, NVIDIA, Airbnb, SiriusXM, Dropbox, Zendesk, Splunk and Goldman Sachs.
Erin frequently speaks on California and national employment law issues. She is currently a Council Member with the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section (LEL) and is the Conference Chair for the American Employment Legal Council (AELC). She is also a faculty member with the Institute for Workplace Equality (IWE), and formerly served as the management chair of the ABA Equal Employment Opportunity Committee. Erin also previously served on the Board of Directors for the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF), as well as BASF’s Justice & Diversity Center (JDC). Amanda started her post-undergraduate professional career in West Africa as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer – a place where she got to deploy her French and Arabic language skills. Though the focus of her service was health education and community development, she also developed friendships and spent time in her village with Liberian and Sierra Leonean refugees interested in, among other things, implementing windmill technology. Her time in the Peace Corps remains a foundational experience for how she approaches her work today — and she continues to be inspired by the power of technology, and those who are bold and want to solve problems.
Now, at Orrick, Amanda works with companies, entrepreneurs and investors in a number of industries including advanced manufacturing, financial services, food and agriculture, mobility, energy infrastructure, climate tech, and health and biotech.
In addition to her practice, Amanda also dedicates time to advancing women in leadership in the U.S. and abroad. She has served as a cultural and professional resource for emerging women leaders from the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa through Tech Women, a U.S. State Department initiative dedicated to empowering technology leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and has previously served on the Board of CodeChix, a non-profit corporation which recruits, retains and inspires women in science and engineering.
True to her professional roots in Peace Corps service, Amanda remains actively committed to advancing global economic development. Sean serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and underwriter's counsel on a variety of public finance transactions, including general obligation and revenue bond financings. Sean's experience includes counseling large public transportation agencies, and assisting in the financing of affordable housing, charter schools and higher education institutions throughout California.
Sean earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis in 2018, and his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2013.
