Lara Graham is an employment law attorney in Orrick's San Francisco office.

Lara defends companies in class action, multi-plaintiff, and single plaintiff lawsuits under California and federal law.  Lara has experience with litigation related to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour claims. 

Lara also has extensive pro bono experience representing low-income individuals.  Through her pro bono work Lara gained trial experience, representing a pro bono client in federal court, and hearing experience, having argued in multiple state-court hearings on behalf of a pro bono client. 

Prior to joining Orrick, Lara served as a law clerk for the Hon. Judge Vanessa Zecher.

In the energy sector, John's work focuses on project finance and development, general corporate matters and miscellaneous investor arrangements in all phases of the development, financing, construction and operation of primarily renewable energy projects. In the infrastructure sector, his work focuses on the development, construction, operation, maintenance and financing of complex infrastructure projects with a focus on public-private partnerships.

John was a summer associate with Orrick in 2012. Prior to joining the firm, he served as law clerk for the City of Pittsburgh Department of City Planning and law clerk for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Pittsburgh Office of General Counsel.

Prior to joining Orrick, Nick served as a law clerk to Judge James L. Dennis of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and to Chief Judge David C. Norton of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. He also served for two years as an attorney on the staff of the United States Sentencing Commission in Washington, D.C.

Emily's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on mass torts and product liability matters.  Before joining Orrick as an associate, Emily was a summer associate in the New York office in 2007.

Timothy Greene is a partner in the Technology Transactions, Technology Companies, and Cyber, Privacy, and Data Innovation Groups at Orrick.

Tim focuses on technology transactions and other commercial contracts and licensing matters. He focuses on helping clients maximize their intellectual property and technology portfolios in a variety of ways, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on joint ventures, development, production, manufacturing, and supply arrangements, and all manner of technology licensing arrangements, including advising on open source business model development. In addition, he advises clients on open source licensing and intellectual property issues in connection with internal audits and mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions.

Tim joined Orrick from Stanford Law School's Center for Internet and Society, where he was the Residential Fellow for Copyright and Fair Use, focusing on advising authors, filmmakers, musicians, and others who rely on copyright fair use in creating their works, and pursuing a scholarly research agenda on trademark and copyright issues. He remains affiliated with Stanford Law School as a Non-Residential Fellow for Copyright and Fair Use.

Tim is also CIPP-US certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for 2018 and 2019.

Andrea Greenwald is a public finance attorney in Orrick's Orange County office. Andrea represents school districts and community college districts, transportation agencies, and counties across California in financings that improve California's schools, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure and public facilities.

Andrea has served as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and underwriter's counsel in a range of financings, including general obligation bonds, revenue and lease revenue bonds, leases and certificates of participation.

Andrea transitioned to the public finance practice in 2016 after successfully defending a Southern California school district in a taxpayer dispute over bond funds during a nine day bench trial.

George's practice focuses on securities and corporate governance litigation, related SEC investigations, and professional liability for accounting firms. He also has extensive experience conducting internal investigations on behalf of boards of directors of both public and private companies.

Chambers USA currently reports that “Greer displays 'exceptional judgment and strategic insight' and is considered 'very thoughtful about what the client wants and needs.'  He is well known for his proficiency in complex securities defense litigation..."  A prior edition of Chambers USA reported that “The market describes him as a ‘bright, strategic’ lawyer who ‘understands how to deal with people effectively’ and ‘gets great results.'"  He has been named Securities Lawyer of the Year for Seattle in four of the five most recent years.

George has represented issuers, officers, directors, accountants and underwriters in class action securities litigation and in SEC investigations and enforcement proceedings.  George's practice also includes representation of companies, boards of directors, Special Litigation Committees and individuals in corporate governance disputes.

George is an Affiliate Instructor at the University of Washington School of Law, where he teaches Legal Problem Solving in the Corporate Context.

Dr. Sven Greulich, partner at Orrick's Düsseldorf office, guides technology companies of all stages and their financial sponsors through transformational corporate transactions. These deals include technology acquisitions, buy-out M&A of technology companies and strategic  cross-border investments/JV as well as later stage venture capital investments.

Sven advises technology companies on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and private equity and venture capital investments, and provides general corporate counseling.

His clients include technology companies of all stages and their investors at all points in the company life cycle. Supported by a global and cross-practice team, he also counsels major corporations on expansion/market entry projects and has a special focus on in- and outbound German/US investments and joint ventures.

Jennifer Grew Managing Associate Public Finance

Jennifer Jacobs Grew is a Public Finance associate in Orrick's New York office.

Jennifer has experience as bond counsel, borrower's counsel, underwriter's counsel, and disclosure counsel on municipal bond transactions in the not-for-profit, higher education, affordable housing, public power, health care and charter school sectors.  She regularly serves as bond counsel to The Trust for Cultural Resources of The City of New York, the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Jennifer's most recent experience includes serving as borrower's counsel to educational and not-for-profit institutions, including Georgetown University, the University of Vermont and the USTA National Tennis Center, as well as private schools and charter schools in New York City.

Prior to joining Orrick, Jennifer worked in New Orleans as a Legal Fellow with Louisiana Appleseed, a non-profit organization dedicated to effecting policy-level change to provide access to justice, education and opportunity across the State of Louisiana.  Immediately after law school, she participated in a fellowship with the Counsel’s Office of the New York City Office of Management and Budget.
