Amy W. Byrd is a managing associate in the firm’s Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. She focuses her practice on complex litigation and class action defense, with specific experience in false advertising, unfair competition, trade secret, and breach of contract disputes.
Ms. Byrd has worked with a variety of corporate and individual clients throughout all aspects of litigation. She has drafted pleadings and motions, managed discovery, and assisted in trial. Ms. Byrd is also familiar and well versed in alternative dispute resolution.
Ms. Byrd is an active participant in the firm’s pro bono program. She volunteers regularly with the Los Angeles County Bar Association Domestic Violence Project and Mental Health Advocacy Services.
Ms. Byrd received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2013, where she was a member of the Articles Review Committee on the Virginia Law & Business Review. She received her B.A. from Stanford University in 2008.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Byrd worked as an editor at an aggregate advertising startup company based in San Francisco.
