Congratulations to Orrick of counsel Nexus Sea on being selected as a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) 2019 Fellows Program, a landmark initiative to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
“I’m incredibly honored and grateful to have been selected as Orrick’s 2019 LCLD Fellow,” said Nexus. “I’m looking forward to the relationship and leadership building opportunities that it provides, and ultimately helping to advance LCLD’s goals for our profession.”
The LCLD Fellows Program, which has trained more than 1,600 mid-career attorneys since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives. Other Orrick lawyers who have participated as LCLD Fellows since the program’s inception include Rodrigo Dominguez, Giji John, Tony Kim, Jennifer Lee, Warrington Parker, Antony Pfeffer, Will Stute, Darren Teshima and Chris Wilkinson.
Orrick has also nominated Emilio Grandio-Urrea and Robert Uriarte to participate in LCLD’s 2019 Pathfinders Program, which provides mentoring and training for high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies, including leadership and building professional networks.
Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 300 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.
