Orrick announced today that Yacouba Coulibaly has joined Orrick-RCI, our Ivory Coast affiliate, as a partner. Yacouba brings extensive experience in project financings in Africa across the most active sectors, including roads, railways, airports and ports, agriculture, renewables, conventional power and oil & gas, as well as aircraft and real estate finance. For the past ten years, he served as Senior Manager of Legal Services with African Export-Import Bank.

Yacouba previously practiced with Hogan Lovells in Paris.Yacouba is the second partner to join the Orrick-RCI team in the past six months, following the arrival of Patricia Amand, a leading advisor in telecommunications regulation who joined from the National Agency of the Universal Service of Telecommunications / ICT. Orrick-RCI now has seven lawyers on the ground in Abidjan. Launched in 2014, Orrick-RCI is the only international law affiliate in West Africa.
