• Advised Nippon Soda, a Japan based global agrichemicals, pharmaceutical and other chemical products manufacturer and distributor in the acquisition of the Tebufenozide insecticide business of Dow AgroSciences, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company.
• Orrick Toyota Tsusho Corporation in purchasing of 40 percent ownership of the Sun Valley Rice Investments, LLC.
• Assisted Sanei International, a leading Japan-based clothing and accessories distributor to establish a joint venture business in Japan with Kate Spade New York.
• Advised a Japan-based manufacturer of plastic food container in a sale of their subsidiary in the U.S.
• Advised a major Japanese marine electronics products manufacturer in the acquisition, by way of merger, of a privately owned U.S. semiconductor company.
• Represented Dentsu Inc., a major Japanese advertisement agency, in its acquisition of a subsidiary from Video International Group, one of the largest Russian media sales companies, to establish an advertising subsidiary of Dentsu Inc. in Russia, Dentsu-Smart LLC.
