Orrick was named one of the top 50 Law Firms for Women in Working Mother Magazine's and Flex-Time Lawyers LLC's 2007 Survey of the 50 Best Law Firms for Women.

The American Lawyer

Orrick made The American Lawyer's A-List, which is reported in the magazine's July issue.  In The American Lawyer's own words, "This is the cream of the crop among the nation's elite law firms," and it is, by definition, difficult to make the cut: the A-List is composed of just 20 firms, or 10 percent of the Am Law 200.

The American Lawyer named Orrick one of the leading U.S. firms in its annual review of corporate practices. The "Corporate Scorecard" cites Orrick as one of 15 firms with the most top-ten rankings in several transactional practice areas. This is the third consecutive year Orrick has placed among the firms with the most rankings.

IFLR Magazine

Americas Awards

International Financial Law Review awarded Orrick the 2007 Americas Award "Project Finance Team of the Year." IFLR cited Orrick's "well-balanced" practice, demonstrated by its representation of "the project company on Pocahontas and the lending banks" on the Indiana Toll Road financing. Orrick also won an IFLR Americas Award for the 2007 "Project Finance Deal of the Year," for advising Transurban on its $608 million acquisition of a 99-year concession for the operation and maintenance of the Pocahontas Parkway, a Virginia toll road.
