IFLR Magazine
Orrick's London restructuring team received International Financial Law Review's "Restructuring
Deal of the Year" in 2009 for its work on the Cheyne Finance SIV. The US$7 billion restructuring was
the first structured investment vehicle (SIV) to go into receivership with untested program
documentation.
Orrick also was nominated for "Most Innovative U.S. Firm in Europe," a new category created to
reward the most innovative U.S. firms operating in Europe for their involvement in the best European
deals of the past year.
