Fareed Zakaria was named editor of Newsweek International in October 2000, overseeing all of Newsweek's editions abroad. The magazine reaches an audience of 24 million worldwide. He also writes a regular column for Newsweek, which appears in Newsweek International and often The Washington Post. He is the author of several books, including The Post-American World and The Future of Freedom. A regular member of the roundtable of ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" as well as an analyst for ABC News, Mr. Zakaria will host a new foreign affairs show on CNN Worldwide starting later this year.
