Elizabeth M. Turner

Elizabeth Turner is a managing associate in the Antitrust and Competition Group. Elizabeth's practice focuses on EU and UK competition and regulatory law.

She has previously advised on EU and multi-jurisdictional merger control, the assessment of restrictions of competition, abuse of dominance, private damages actions and competition compliance.

Examples of European and multi-jurisdictional matters on which Elizabeth has advised include the following.

• Telenor on the sale of its mobile telecommunications assets in Russia and Ukraine to Vimpelcom Ltd; coordinating global merger filings.
• Venture Production on the hostile takeover bid launched by Centrica; notified to the European Commission.

Before joining Orrick, Elizabeth was employed in Brussels where she completed an internship at the Competition Directorate of the European Commission.
