Darren S. Teshima

Mr. Teshima, a managing associate in Orrick's San Francisco office, is a member of the Litigation Group. His civil litigation practice concentrates on the representation of corporate policyholders in insurance coverage disputes.  Mr. Teshima represents policyholders in first-party and third-party insurance matters and advises clients in the financial services, manufacturing, retail and hospitality industries.

Additionally, Mr. Teshima is active in pro bono matters. He has successfully handled administrative trials and hearings on behalf of asylum seekers, low-income tenants and children facing school expulsion, and has provided litigation advice to nonprofit organizations. In recognition of his commitment to pro bono clients, he is a two-time recipient of Legal Services for Children’s Pro Bono Advocate Award.

Before joining Orrick, Mr. Teshima was an associate at Heller Ehrman LLP.
