Mr. Ken Wang, an associate in Orrick's Washington, D.C., office, is a member of the Financial Markets Group.

Mr. Wang graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2006. Before joining Orrick, he was a Portfolio Financial Analyst at the Capital Markets Group of Fannie Mae for two years, analyzing various mortgages, mortgage-backed securities, collateralized mortgage obligations, hedges, caps, floors, options, swaps, swaptions and other derivatives.  He spent the previous five years with the Corporate Finance Department of Washington Gas Light Company, performing financial analyses in a wide range of Treasury functions.  Mr. Wang also had worked for Deloitte Touche and Summit Bank (now Bank of America).  As a professional interpreter, Mr. Wang has performed simultaneous interpretation for many United Nations agencies and other Chinese and American organizations.

Mr. Wang is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  He completed all of the taxation courses that were required for an LL.M. degree in Taxation at Georgetown University Law Center.
