Jerry Ye, an associate in Orrick's Shanghai office, is a member of the Corporate Group. He has extensive experience representing multinational corporate clients, as well as domestic companies, in their investment projects in China and/or offshore financing. These matters have covered a wide range of areas, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, China inward investment, corporate restructuring, corporate finance and other commercial transactions.
Mr. Ye's selected engagements include:
- Advising Bosideng International Holdings Limited on its US$70 million pre-IPO private equity finance, round-trip investment and acquisition of its domestic assets.
- Advising Sequoia Capital on its US$15 million private equity investment in an emerging Chinese pharmaceutical company.
- Advising Golden Concord Non-Ferrous Metal Holdings Limited on its acquisition of an iron mine in the PRC.
- Advising various private equity and venture capital funds on their investments in start-ups with operation in the PRC.
- Advising ANTA Sports Products Limited on the reorganization of its domestic entities and listing on Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- Advising Cazenove Asia Limited as sole bookrunner of the US$119 million IPO and Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing by DaChan Food (Asia) Limited.
Prior to joining Orrick, Mr. Ye worked for an international law firm based in Shanghai.
