Mr. Wong, a senior associate in Orrick's Hong Kong office, is a member of the Corporate Group.
His practice focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and venture capital financing. Mr. Wong has assisted H Shares and Red Chip companies on their initial public offerings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (representing both sponsors and issuers), and secondary fund-raisings, such as right issues, open offers and top-up placings. Mr. Wong regularly advises Hong Kong-listed companies on a range of issues, including industry sectors on regulatory and compliance issues. Mr. Wong also has advised on venture capital transactions, acting for both VC funds and emerging companies in the technology, media and telecommunication industry. He also has experience with setting up investment funds and international trade matters.
