Emily Tabatabai, a managing associate in the Washington, D.C., office, is a member of the Antitrust and Litigation Groups and the Consumer Protection and Privacy practice. Ms. Tabatabai's practice involves antitrust counseling on mergers, joint ventures and group purchasing organizations; government investigations conducted by the DOJ, FTC and State Attorneys' General; complex litigation; and consumer protection counseling. She has advised clients on an array of consumer protection and privacy issues, including data privacy and security compliance and procedure, online privacy, sales/warranties, HIPPA, and marketing and advertising issues.
She was a summer associate at Orrick in 2005. Prior to law school, she worked as a financial analyst at a boutique bond finance law firm and an executive compensation consultant at Ernst & Young.
