Mark Seneca, a corporate partner in the Silicon Valley office, is a member of Orrick’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group and Emerging Companies Group. Mr. Seneca has dedicated his legal career to the M&A specialty, with experience in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions involving both public and private companies in domestic and cross-border deals. As a member of Orrick’s Emerging Companies Group, he has a particular focus on the technology sector.
Mr. Seneca has served as lead M&A counsel on the buy-side for both public company serial acquirers, including Apple, Yahoo!, Intellisync and Xilinx, and private company serial acquirers, such as eHarmony, Facebook, RockYou, Exponential Interactive, The Resource Group International Limited and Handmark. He also has served as lead M&A counsel on numerous sale transactions involving major technology sector participants, including Microsoft, IBM, Computer Associates, Walt Disney, SSA Global Technologies, MySpace and SiRF.
