Alan D’Ambrosio is a partner in the New York office and a member of the Corporate Group.  Mr. D’Ambrosio’s practice focuses on international corporate transactions, information technology and outsourcing.

Mr. D’Ambrosio has more than 30 years of experience representing clients in international business transactions and information technology transactions, primarily as counsel to foreign companies with substantial operations or activities in North America, and to foreign governments and their central banks.

He has handled mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate matters, complex information technology transactions (including major outsourcing matters), and national and multinational litigation and arbitration matters involving clients from North America, Europe, Asia and South America.

Before joining Orrick, Mr. D’Ambrosio was a Capital Partner at Winston and Strawn (New York, 1999-2003).  Prior to his tenure with Winston, he served as the Managing Partner of Reed Smith Shaw & McClay LLP’s New York office (New York, 1994-1999), and as a partner at Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis (New York, 1990-1994).

He is admitted to practice before various District Courts and Federal Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court.
